About

Hey y’all, I’m Rachael.

I’m a Bible teacher and writer who’s passionate about the character of God, the story of Scripture, and helping women connect both to their daily lives.

I’m a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.Div. in Ministry to Women. I’m on staff at Providence Church in Frisco, Texas, where I serve as an executive assistant and have the privilege of ministering to women of all ages and stages of life.

More about me...

Scroll through to get to know me a little better.

I love to read and to share what I'm reading

Ask me what I’m reading and you’ll see my eyes light up. I love to read, but even better is sharing the perfect book recommendation with a friend.

Deuteronomy is my favorite book of the Bible

Unusual? Maybe. But I got stuck in Deuteronomy (in the best possible way) during a Bible reading plan and it’s now the book I return to most often.

I dream of being Kathleen Kelly

If you know her name, we’ll be friends. My dream is to own a bookshop around the corner.

I'm an introvert who loves people

I love my alone time, but also thrive on one-on-one time with friends.

I'm happiest in a coffee shop

Whether I’m there with a friend or with a book, there are few places I’d rather be!

Baking is my stress relief

After a long week, you can be almost certain of finding homemade brownies or chocolate chip cookies in my home.

Orange is my happy color

Don’t you love a pop of color?
